About Fiasco

Fiasco is an award-winning, GM-less game for 3-5 players by Bully Pulpit Games, designed to be played in a few hours with no preparation. During a game you will engineer and play out stupid, disastrous situations, usually at the intersection of greed, fear, and lust. It's like making your own Coen brothers movie, in about the same amount of time it'd take to watch one.

About is an archive of playsets for the Fiasco RPG, intended to facilitate finding, downloading, and playing any playset while supporting Bully Pulpit Games and the individual playset authors.

This site is not run by nor affiliated with Bully Pulpit Games in any official capacity, but it does operate with their explicit permission. Each playset is the copyright of its respective author(s). prefers to not host other authors' playsets, instead linking to authors' websites or other official download locations. An archived version is provided for playsets whose authors no longer maintain a download location.

If your playset is listed on this site and you'd prefer it not be, please message me at and I'll remove it as soon as possible.

Wait, what happened to the old site?

If you've used the previous version of the site, you can probably tell this current version is missing the individual pages and increased detail for each playset. In rebuilding the site from the ground up, I chose to focus on improved searching and filtering with quicker access to the the downloads.

Individual pages for each playset will return, but I didn't want to hold up the launch of the new site while I teach myself the basics of contemporary web development. View the development roadmap.

This site was built with the following tools:

  • Github Pages, for simple, reliable, inexpensive hosting that integrates seamlessly with my build process
  • Astro, an all-in-one web framework
  • Bootstrap 5, a frontend toolkit
  • Bootstrap Icons v1.10.2, the exhaustive icon font included with Bootstrap
  • Rakkas, a playful blackletter display font by Zeynep Akay
  • Vollkorn, a versatile and substantial body font by Friedrich Althausen
  • jQuery, the ubiquitous javascript library still used by frontend hacks like me
  • jQuery.fancyTable, a jQuery plugin for searching, sorting, and filtering the playset list
  • Google Translate, because Fiasco has been translated into a lot of languages
