Horripilation

Horripilation

By Corey Watson

Players beware, you’re in for a scare!

The town of Stineville is a great place to have a fresh start. Interesting neighbors, plenty to do, a good assortment of local businesses. It’s enough to make anyone not want to leave. Except you’ve been noticing things. Things that make you question the reality of the town. Perhaps Stineville is a little more strange than everyone would have you believe.

Horripilation is a Fiasco Playset that is inspired from 90s style young adult horror. Mainly the horror comedy genius that is the multimedia nostalgia ride of Goosebumps.

Unlike normal Fiasco, I suspect that most people will roll characters that are friends with each other. Or at least you are all together trying to solve or stop the strange going on together. Meaning that you’re likely to have at least one other PC with you, sure, but you won't necessarily be fighting against them. This doesn’t mean you can’t, by all means antagonize each other. Just in the case that you’re working together, have the other’s play the NPCs that you want something from. I don’t know about you but, that weird old woman next door that you think you saw watering beards in a plant pot through the window? I’m going to want to eventually sneak in there and see what actually is going on. Then maybe confront her about it after.

The Tilt Table has been adjusted to reflect something more suitable to this setting. Not to keep everything safe for the players, just to keep things in flavor with the stories so many love.
